Directions: BEACH CLEAN-UP DIRECTIONS
Take the 405 FWY to Seal Beach Blvd, go South off of the freeway to Pacific Coast Highway (a little more than 2 miles) and make a right on PCH. Take PCH to 1st Street (a little less than a mile) and make a left onto 1st Street. Take 1st Street until it ends in a parking lot and that's where we'll be! If you get lost, please call Kim's cell phone at (562) 884-6764.

Other Notes: California Coastal Cleanup Day in Seal Beach! We are part of Coastal Cleanup Day, Saturday September 20th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 2 locations again this year and we will have a HUGE turnout!
1) 1st & Ocean Ave in the Seal Beach parking lot along the jetty - our normal beach cleanup location

AND

2) 1st & Pacific Coast Highway, in Seal Beach just across PCH from Oakwood Apts in Seal Beach, at the San Gabriel riverbed. To locate the parking, please take Pacific Coast Highway and at 1st Street, go North and park diagonally along the access road (there will be large yellow signs with arrows on PCH pointing to parking location) and then walk towards the riverbed.

Save Our Beach and the city of Seal Beach will provide free parking (no parking passes needed on this day),protective gloves, garbage bags, drinking water, hand sanitizers and porta potties with sinks inside. Seal Beach Host Lions will be cooking hot dogs, providing chips, cookies and refreshments from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Boeing will have 100+ employees out helping us cleanup our riverbed.
 
ADP will have 100+ employees out helping us cleanup our beach.

Deloitte Consulting will have SCUBA DIVERS getting things out from the bottom of the ocean!
 
As always, we provide free parking, garbage bags, protective gloves drinking water hand sanitizers (AND certificates if you need one for community service credit) all we ask that you bring are any of the following:

- old prescription eyeglasses (if you have them) as the Lions take them to Mexico to benefit the less fortunate

- old cell phones (we recycle them)

- old printer cartridges (we recycle them)
