Current and Past Projects

Since we started keeping track in 1997, Trails4All has completed more than 800 projects with the help of 34,000 volunteers and has removed more than one million pounds of trash from the environment —the weight of nearly 300 full-sized automobiles! (And yes—some of that trash has been dumped cars.)  Here are some of the projects we are most proud of.

  1. Design of award-winning Coyote Creek Bikeway Master Plan
  2. Partnerships4Trails’ students at Magnolia High School create urban garden and interpretive trail
  3. Creation of Girl Scout “Gold Award” trail at Santiago Creek
  4. Helping to shape Orange County’s trail master plan on the Orange County Regional Trail Committee
  5. Design and construction of trails in Santiago Oaks Wilderness Park, post Windy Ridge fire
  6. Partnerships4Trails’ students at Letha Raney Intermediate School help construct a trail in the Cleveland National Forest
  7. 20,000 pounds of waste removed from illegal dump site during the 2008 Inner-Coastal & Watershed Cleanup, a state record
  8. Rebuilt and reopened the Cactus Hill Trail in Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park
  9. Removal of 118,000 pounds of trash from Trabuco Canyon
  10. Trained Girl Scouts of America property managers in trail maintenance and construction
