Jim Hasenauer: Jim Hasenauer is a Professor Emeritus of Communication Studies at California State University at  Northridge and is a long time bicycling, parks and public lands advocate.  He was a founder and for many years served on the boards of both the Concerned Off Road Bicyclists Association in LA and the International Mountain Bicycling Association.  Hasenauer currently serves as president of the California Trails and Greenways Foundation and as Co-Chair of the California Roundtable on Recreation, Parks and Tourism which sponsors the California Children’s Outdoor Bill of Rights.  He’s a member of the Governing Board of the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority.  In 1998, Jim was inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame.

Keith Rattay: Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Services, City of Mission Viejo.  The City of Mission Viejo has taken a community approach to trail maintenance and long-term development. The City has worked over the years to enhance the neighborhood connections to the trail system. Mission Viejo believes the trials build a sense of community. Mission Viejo has engaged community members and has received over 80,000 hours of volunteers labor and planted well over 300,000 trees and shrubs along our trails system with volunteers.
